Nature inspires Dhurba and he likes nothing more than to be in the mountains. Young, active, smart, patient, and intelligent, he has been working as a trekking guide for Nepal Hiking Team since 2018. He has walked through all the major trekking trails in Nepal and has good knowledge of the Himalayan culture, wildlife and vegetation.
Dhurba is a good communicator and loves to share his knowledge about the mountains with those who trek with them.
An absolutely unforgettable experience! The trek was challenging, but Nepal Hiking Team went above and beyond to make it as enjoyable as possible. They were considerate, friendly, and a joy to be with throughout the journey. Our guide, Druba, was fantastic—fun, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. This was a truly special adventure for my wife and me, and we can't wait to trek with Nepal Hiking Team again in the future! The food and accommodations were also top-notch!
NHT proved to be a very professional and capable guide team for our EBC trek. As we set off on this long-anticipated journey with a group of friends, we encountered some challenges with the weather and heavy rains disrupting our travel plans. During these tough moments, NHT really came through for us, keeping us updated and ensuring that everyone had the transportation needed to reach Lukla and begin the trek.
Throughout the trek, the experience and professionalism of the guides—Prakash, Dhurba, Sabin, Vishal, and Indra—really stood out. They provided continuous support, making the hike enjoyable and encouraging. As the altitude increased, they remained vigilant, making sure each of us received the attention we needed to manage our individual challenges. On the final day, they truly went above and beyond, bringing in extra help to assist us through the most difficult part of the hike.
After the trek, they continued their great support, making sure we had a safe and smooth journey back to Kathmandu. They coordinated with each of us to ensure we made it back to our flights home without any issues.
