Luxury EBC Trek Overview

Luxury Everest Heli Trek serves a premium journey in the Everest region that has 5-star hotel services, Luxury Mountain lodges, and a Heli return Tour. This trek saves time and conveys adventure while in comfort.

Everest trek combined with the Luxury and Heli makes it an exclusive package for trekkers interested in an extraordinary Everest trip in a short time.

The difference between these two packages is the duration of the trek and the Heli return flight. Both of the trekking follows the same route, rest stops, and the luxury services.

However, the Luxury Everest Base Camp Heli Trek is an upgraded version with a Heli return tour that reduces the duration period of the trek by three days.

Helicopter Ride Expereince

Yes, a Heli return to Kathmandu is worth it as it saves time, enhances the Luxury experience, and offers a chance to witness a top view of the highest mountain along with the surrounding peaks. The view during the Heli ride is indescribably beautiful and timeless.

Heli return saves three trekking days, reducing the physical strain and rewards you with a comfortable and exclusive end of the trek.

Yes, photos and videos are completely allowed during the Heli ride. While the Heli tour presents stunning midair views of the Everest region, you can capture some of the best iconic photos and videos. Make sure you have your cameras and phone secured.

Yes, there is a possibility of getting your flight canceled due to unpredictable weather in the mountains. In case of flight delay, it is strongly recommended to descend to a lower altitude in Lobuche as a safer alternative. The village is under an altitude of 5000m, which reduces the risk of high altitude sickness.

The helicopter picks you up from the Gorakshep to Lukla, where you stop to refuel. You might have to wait for a short time before continuing the journey.

The flight from Gorakshep to Lukla is private. However, if the group size is less than five members, you need to share the Heli service from Lukla to Kathmandu.

Important note: The Helicopter can only pick up two passengers at a time in Gorakshep for safety protocol regarding high altitude.

If there are more than two members, multiple shuttles are required, and the picked-up passenger waits for the remaining team in Pheriche. After all the members are picked up, the group continues the remaining trip together.

Accommodation and Services

During your stay in Kathmandu, you are accommodated in a 5-star hotel pre-trek and Post-trek. On trekking days, you stay at a luxury hotel in Lukla, Monjo, and Namche and the best available teahouses for the rest of the journey.

Note: The rooms are well equipped with en suite bathrooms in each teahouse during Luxury Everest Base Camp Heli Trek. Hot showers, charging facilities, and internet facilities in all lodges are provided with no requirement of additional charges.

Yes, you can extend your stay in Kathmandu if you intend to. In fact, extending your days is beneficial for the jet-lag recovery and possible flight delays. The added days can provide a more relaxed and unrushed experience during the trip.

Trekking Difficulty and Preparation

The Luxury Everest Heli Trek is a moderate-level trek. However, the trekker must be mentally and physically prepared before the trekking. While the average walking hours are 7-8 hours per day, this can be challenging for new trekkers. Another difficulty of the trek is its high altitude of more than 5500m.

Note: Regardless of the difficulty, the Luxury Everest trek with Heli provides comfortable accommodation support and skips three days of trekking, reducing the physical pressure. Again, our professional support team ensures safety while making the experience less challenging and more enjoyable.

The standard group size for the Luxury Everest Heli Trek is a minimum of two people to a maximum of 10 people. We also organize private tours, including tours for solo travelers with supplementary depending on the season of travel.
