Amazing trip with a fantastic guide Bibek. Our porter was also phenomenal and kind. Both kept us on target to the destination but with good breaks, stopping to enjoy the sights and for us to be safe and well cared for.

I booked as a solo but had another solo traveler join and we all had a fun time as a group. It was good to not be the only guest.

It was my birthday during the trek, I wasn't intending to mention it, but the guide and porter found out the day before. Somehow, they managed a birthday cake with my name on it for the next morning and brought it to the top of the hike at Poon Hill. What a surprise and amazing thoughtful gesture.

Truly a trip of a lifetime if you love nature and trekking. Can't recommend this company and team enough.

My family of 4 have just returned to Kathmandu from our trek to Everest Base Camp.

Our family of 4 have 15 and 13 to sons. We travelled from Brisbane, Australia to trek out of season up to EBC.

Nepal Hiking team manage the experience remarkably well. It's tough country up there, but we were always safe, and were impressed with the professionalism and cheerfulness of our guides and porters.

We accomplished the trek to Everest Base Camp with our guide Deepak Dhakal, and porter Prem. For more adventure and an incredible experience, we added a night of camping at base camp, and it was an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend adding the camping option—it was absolutely worth the extra cost. Trekking in mid-September meant we had the entire base camp all to ourselves, making the experience even more special.

Deepak was a fantastic guide – friendly, funny, fluent in English, and someone we are now friends with. If we ever come back, we would love to work with him and Nepal Hiking Team again. Deepak's talent for photography gave us some stunning photos to cherish these incredible memories. Prem, our porter, was also wonderful. He always had a smile on his face and helped us all the way.

Ganga and the Nepal Hiking Team made the entire trip easy and seamless, they organized everything, including a stay at a lovely hotel during our time in Kathmandu.

I am so happy that I chose Nepal Hiking Team to complete my Everest Base Camp Trek. It’s always been a dream of mine and now I can say I successfully completed it, thanks to the support of Ganga and Dipendra – an excellent guide who couldn’t do enough to help make the experience positive and unforgettable.

Although dealing with the elements is at times tough (I went on Dec/Jan and temperatures can get very low), the support and encouragement from Dipendra made me feel confident in my abilities throughout.

Having all meals included was fantastic and made things really easy, teahouses were we described and the sleeping bag and jacket provided did a great job keeping me warm. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an adventure in Nepal!

Couldn't ask for a better company to work with to do the Everest Base Camp trek. Ganga was very quick to respond to questions I had when booking and preparing for the trek. The hotel and guesthouses they choose for the trek were all great, and awesome food along the way. 

The highlight, though was our amazing guides, Ramesh and Ngima as well as 3 porters. They would go above and beyond to ensure you're comfortable throughout the 12-day trek.

Additionally both guides provided a lot of great information about the history and culture of Nepal along the way. I also loved we had a small group of 5, which made the trip a lot more intimate and memorable. This was at the top of my bucket list for treks, and I'm grateful to have worked with an amazing team of staff, guides, and porters to make this a reality.

I did the EBC trek with Nepal Hiking Team, and I must say it was the most organized and well-planned trek I’ve ever experienced.

Everything, from transportation and flight bookings to the stay in Kathmandu and the accommodations and food during the trek, was excellent.

Mr. Ganga handled all the bookings and queries brilliantly, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free.

The highlight of the trek was our guide Paban and his team, Rabi and Hari. They were absolutely amazing—always providing personal attention, help, and top-notch service. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout.

I also spoke to trekkers from other groups, and it was clear that our food and stays were far superior.

My husband and I spent a month in Nepal and had the opportunity of two treks with the Nepal Hiking Team. We started with the Langtang Valley Trek, which was an incredible "warm-up" to the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Short Trek. Please refer to the separate review for that amazing experience. After hiking above 16,000ft at the summit of Chorka Ri, we were well-prepared for ABC. This trek is a breathtaking loop up a 3,300-step staircase leading to several spectacular vantage points (hello, Poon Hill!) before a thrilling approach to the base of Machapuchare (Fishtail) and the Annapurna range.

Each day brought new and increasingly stunning views as we neared ABC. On finally arriving, we didn’t feel small but rather privileged to stand in awe of the mountains we had spent a week reaching. Reaching the base camp would have been enough. However, Nepal Hiking Team made it truly outstanding. 

Our guide, Santosh, and porter, Sabin, flawlessly guided our experience. Their expertise in trekking strategy, topography, botany, and life made this the journey of a lifetime. Thank you, gentlemen. Nepal Hiking Team arranged a customized ABC and Mardi Himal trek for our family of three, and the pre-tour communication was great.

Bhim was our guide, and his years of experience really showed. He made sure we stayed in the best places and easily adjusted our plans when needed.
