We did the more remote Nar Phu Valley trek, over Kang La Pass (17,500 feet). Unfortunately, I developed altitude sickness so couldn’t complete the trip, but I’m leaving this review to tell you how wonderful Nepal Hiking Team was in taking care of me. They allowed us to stay at one location for an extra night to see if I could acclimate. 

When that didn’t work, Ganga arranged a helicopter evacuation and hospital stay. He came and visited me in the hospital and worked on arrangements to allow me to rejoin the trip in Pokhara. NHT completely and thoroughly took care of me, and I felt very safe. I would have no hesitation traveling with NHT again. Our guide and porter were terrific as well.

All features of the Everest Base Camp Trek (accommodation, food, etc) were great.

Our guide Netra was forced to change our itinerary due to unforeseen weather conditions and in following such changes helped us reach all of our destinations with time to spare.

What an amazing experience, doing the EBC trek with Nepal Hiking Team. Netra was an awesome guide, took care of the 3 of us so well the entire time. The pace he set was perfect for us; it didn't feel slow at all, and he's also a pretty keen photographer. I can't wait to have another chance to travel with them again.

If you are looking to do the EBC trek with guides/porters from a local Nepali company I recommend going through Nepal Hiking Team. It really is a comprehensive experience that they provide. Going in, I knew I didn't want to have to fuss with trying to book flights/helicopters into and out of Lukla, teahouse accommodations along the trek, numerous parks passes, and having to fret about wayfinding. The guides (holla Bhisma and Santosh!!) have ++ experience with helping people along through the trek, and it pays to have their guidance, assurance, and expertise through the trails, culture, weather, and altitude. I really can't recommend them enough, as having these things taken care of for me allowed me to be in the moment and embrace the beauty of the trek. Power to you if you want to arrange the whole thing by yourself, but if you are looking to book through a trekking company, I'd 100% recommend that you go with NHT. They are transparent and very quick to respond to any inquiries via email, and I felt fully supported throughout my journey to/from EBC.

My Everest Base Camp trek with Nepal Hiking Team was truly the experience of a lifetime! Everything was flawlessly organized, letting me fully soak in the breathtaking landscapes and the tough but incredibly rewarding journey.

We just completed the Langtang Valley Trek with Nepal Hiking Team, and everything was so well organized! The company arranged our accommodation, transport, and three meals a day, making the trek completely stress-free. Our guide, Gokul, was fantastic—super friendly, spoke good English, and knew a lot about the area, always happy to answer our questions. Our porter, Kamal, was also great—he spoke good English and was a lot of fun to be around!

The Langtang trek itself was amazing, and we were lucky with the weather. What made it even more special was Gokul and Kamal, who went above and beyond to take care of us. We’d definitely recommend Nepal Hiking Team to anyone planning a guided trek in Nepal!

Our Everest Base Camp trek with Nepal Hiking Team was an incredible experience. From start to finish, everything was well organized for our trej, so we never had to worry about a thing. Our guides, Paban and Hari, were knowledgeable, attentive, and always made sure we were safe and comfortable.

A big special thanks to our porters, Prakash and Tulsi, who were hardworking and also kind and supportive throughout the trek. We always felt well taken care of. Absolutely amazing trek to Everest Base Camp with Nepal Hiking Team!

Our guides were Paban and Hari. Apart from them, all of the team of Nepal Hiking team were amazing to have along for the trip. The knowledge of the Everest trails, passes and mountains was superb and extremely helpful for negotiating and adapting the trip when needed.

This trek had made me want to do so many more!
