A trip of a lifetime to Everest Base Camp

Everest Base Camp Trek was on my bucket list ever since I saw the bewildering Everest range images on my Pinterest page. That scenic destination stole my heart in a bit. So, I was like I had to be there someday. And when the perfect time came around, I started preparing for the trek. Nepal Hiking Team was recommended to me by my friends who trekked EBC a few years back. I immediately contact them and arrange my most awaited journey.

My guide for the trek was Paban, and I am lucky to have him on the hike. I am a slow walker as I did not have any experience of trekking. He was very attentive about my pace. I never asked to walk faster as I was trekking in a group. He has a broad knowledge of the mountains and about the Sherpa people. He explained about all the mountains visible to our eyes.

There were many things best all through the journey. A few of my best experiences on the trek would be breakfast at Everest View Hotel, rest day in Namche Bazaar, and Everest base camp itself. Also, the flight to Lukla was quivering, which fulfilled my need for an adrenaline rush. Similarly, the early morning hike to Kala Patthar fulfilled my thirst for breathtaking views of the mountains.

From Kala Patthar, we got an up-close view of Mt. Everest, not from the base camp. I am glad I went on this journey. It was everything I had always expected it to be. And for not letting my expectations down, I am very much thankful to Paban and Nepal Hiking Team for making this trek a trip of a lifetime. From the beginning of the journey to Nepal's last day, they were always present to look after my needs. I am glad I choose them and very thankful for unforgettable memories. Every part of the journey was cherishing, and I look forward to exploring more trekking trails of Nepal in the future.
