• Nepal Hiking Team to Gokyo Lakes, Cho La Pass and EBC

  My son Gabriel and I were delighted to have chosen Nepal Hiking Team for our unforgettable trek to Everest Base Camp. Our 17-day route took us through many beautiful natural sights as we followed the Dudh Koshi River towards Gokyo Lakes, crossing the river several times on suspension bridges. 

  

  At Gokyo, a 4:30 am ascent of Gokyo Ri allowed us to view the sunrise over Everest and some of the most spectacular scenery we have ever witnessed. After Gokyo came the long and arduous ascent of Cho La Pass at 5420m and a crossing of the Ngozumpa glacier, which brought us back to the main EBC trail. 

  We spent a night at base camp, a unique opportunity to interact with some climbers preparing to summit Everest. The accommodation in tea houses was spartan but perfectly fine, and the provided food was always tasty, nourishing, and plentiful.

  A great big thanks goes out to Ganga for flawlessly organizing what was essentially a custom trip. Many thanks, too, to our peerless porter Jiban, who amazed us with his capacity to haul our duffel bags up the steepest of slopes—and always with a smile! But the biggest thank you must go to our guide and friend, Arjun, who ensured the trek went smoothly and ensured our well-being every step. 

  

  I can’t comment on the many other companies that operate treks to EBC, but I can resolutely state that Nepal Hiking Team goes out of its way to ensure client satisfaction. I highly recommend NHT and would not hesitate to use them again.

• Fantastic EBC trek, thank you Arjun D!!!!

  Our EBC trek with Nepal Hiking Team was amazing! Even though Nepal was dealing with severe flooding, we always felt safe, thanks to our incredible guide and the whole NHT team. Their support made sure the impact on our trip was minimal.

  The team in the office was fantastic too! They were quick to reply to emails, usually within 1-2 hours, and always helpful, responsible, and easy to reach.

  Our guide, Arjun Dahal, was amazing! He was flexible, fun, and always in a good mood. He never pressured us, and his great sense of humor made the trip even better. If we had questions about Nepal’s culture, he was happy to share, and his English was excellent. Arjun also kept a close watch on how we were feeling in the high altitude and gave us both physical and mental support to help us reach our goal.

  We’re so happy with the experience and would love to have Arjun as our guide for any future treks. He found a solution to every challenge and made the whole trip unforgettable!

• An incredible team for amazing vacation in Nepal!!

  We delight in an amazing trip in the Khumbu Valley of Everest, discovering each day some of the most beautiful and mesmerizing views of the Himalaya peaks. The booking process was very smooth and we obtained a quick and clear communication from the managing director himself.

  The team helped us from the first when we arrived to the last minute in the country, including support for air and ground transportation.
  For two weeks, we enjoyed the professionalism and friendship of our guide Arjun. Our guide took care of us at every step. We have been able to learn from the culture of Nepal, ask tons of questions, chat, enjoy some card games in the evening, and we always received the best guidance.

  Our guide was extremely caring and very adaptive to our specific needs. Our guide continuously monitored our health in high altitude and helped to avoid medical issues due to altitude sickness.
