I have nothing but positive things to say about Nepal Hiking Team. You don’t need to look anywhere else, the service is the best for hardly any difference in price in comparison to other companies. I met a family who was using them last year on the Everest Base Camp trek when I used a different company. After seeing the service and hotels they used last year that the family got, I decided to use Nepal Hiking Team myself for Annapurna Circuit.
Ganga is very informative and will give a detailed itinerary. He is also flexible if you want to make any small changes. For example wanting to fly back instead of a bus journey or extending the hiking trip by one day.
Our porter Kamal went above and beyond his role. He speaks very good English which is unusual for a porter and he has a wonderful upbeat and happy personality. He took our food order and prepared our fruit. Our last day was unexpectedly very cold and windy but he was a power horse with the two 15kg bags and his own back pack on his back.
Paban was attentive to our needs. He explained each day in detail and made adjustments when we had requests. For example, when we wanted to take a higher route one day rather than the itinerary that was given to us, he made changes without any hesitation. On the last day of Annapurna circuit the weather was brutal. He carried my day bag the whole day without any complaints and attended to my needs, passing me water and food when necessary.
When I come back again, I will use Nepal Hiking Team without a doubt and will request both Paban and Kamal. Thank you for a wonderful trip.
