We travel on our EBC trek during the beginning 2 weeks of September 2024. From the moment we landed at the kathmandu airport, in the middle of a rainstorm, the NHT was there to shepherd all the way long. During the entire tour, they were absolutely professional, helping us in the best way possible to reach our destiny of Everest Basecamp.
Our guide, Paban Panta, was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. He anticipated our every need and kept us motivated with his great sense of humor. I have Parkinson’s Disease and MS, which made the trek more challenging, but Paban was an amazing cheerleader and kept a close eye on my progress without ever making a fuss.
Gopal, our porter, was a sweet and polite man who treated our gear like it was his own and was always there with a helping hand whenever we needed it.
The tea houses and food along the trail were top-notch, and every detail was taken care of by the team.
Working with the Nepal Hiking Team was a breeze—they answered all our questions quickly and executed the trip perfectly. It’s a first-class operation, and I can’t recommend them enough!
