We highly recommend Nepal Hiking Team—great communication with Ganga before the trekking. We arrived early and stayed at The Wood Apple Hotel and Spa, which we also highly recommend. Lead Guide Ram and his team were very professional and friendly. My wife became ill on the second day of the trek, and Ram and the team were very compassionate, helping her every step of the way for the rest of the journey. She wouldn’t have made it without Ram and his team.
Our group included myself, my wife, and three other wonderful other hikers—Michael, David, and Phoebe. Everyone except Phoebe is at or near 60 years old. What an experience! Beautiful scenery, great weather in early October. The tea houses were very clean and had excellent food. All we had to do was hike. Would recommend this trek and Nepal Hiking Team to anyone who wants to see Everest base camp and is willing to do some training beforehand.
