The Annapurna Base Camp trek was nothing short of amazing.
Ganga, who was our first contact point, was prompt in answering all our pre-trip questions and was happy to hop onto a pre-trip online meeting to prepare all of us. He was detailed in his responses and willing to customize certain trip details.
The logistics and planning were smoothly handled before and after the trek. We were taken care of from the moment we landed at Kathmandu airport.
Dipendra, our main trek guide, was helpful and ever dependable. He made sure all our needs were met throughout the trek. Each evening, Dip gave a detailed briefing about the next day's trek and shared valuable advice based on the terrain and weather ahead.
On long treks like this, there are 101 things that may go wrong. Dip is resourceful and handled every request and issue we had. He also shared interesting nuggets of information along the trek. He is supportive, patient, and funny. I would highly recommend him, especially if you need extra support.
Our porters, Basu and Niman, were nothing short of amazing. More than just porters, they were our cheerleaders throughout the hike. They took the time during breaks to share their culture and language with us. No matter what, they were our dependable support, helping us with food, water, and even sheltering us in harsh conditions.
