Bhisma and Santosh: All the way to Everest

If you are looking to do the EBC trek with guides/porters from a local Nepali company I recommend going through Nepal Hiking Team. It really is a comprehensive experience that they provide. Going in, I knew I didn't want to have to fuss with trying to book flights/helicopters into and out of Lukla, teahouse accommodations along the trek, numerous parks passes, and having to fret about wayfinding. The guides (holla Bhisma and Santosh!!) have ++ experience with helping people along through the trek, and it pays to have their guidance, assurance, and expertise through the trails, culture, weather, and altitude. I really can't recommend them enough, as having these things taken care of for me allowed me to be in the moment and embrace the beauty of the trek. Power to you if you want to arrange the whole thing by yourself, but if you are looking to book through a trekking company, I'd 100% recommend that you go with NHT. They are transparent and very quick to respond to any inquiries via email, and I felt fully supported throughout my journey to/from EBC.
