We're three friends from Hong Kong who undertook Poon Hill and Annapurna Base Camp. Our porters, Robin and Budda, were always upbeat and industrious, carrying our bags with constant smiles and ensuring our comfort. This trek was our first hiking experience abroad, and it couldn't have been better. The people of Nepal are hot and welcoming.
The views from the mountains were breathtaking, and the sunrise over the snow-capped peaks from Poon Hill was simply stunning.
