You will meet our office representative at the Kathmandu Airport. You will easily recognize him as he will be carrying “Nepal Hiking Team” placard. He will then escort you to your trip Hotel in a private vehicle.

At the hotel, after you have check-in and got freshened up, we will conduct a small briefing session regarding your tour. After the meeting, we do not have scheduled any plans for the rest of the day. So, you can enjoy the rest of the day doing anything you would like.

Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

This exclusive photo tour begins with a short drive from Kathmandu to the western hilltop of Swayambhunath Stupa. Enlisted in 1979 as a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, this historic complex has a dome-shaped stupa with a gilded spire rising on the top. Besides, the stupa has four iconic faces of the Buddha in the cardinal directions staring out across the valley.

The main complex of Swayambhunath is surrounded by prayer wheels and multi-color prayer flags. Moreover, it also consists of several historical shrines and temples, a few of which date back to the Licchavi era.

This iconic Swayambhunath Stupa is a sacred pilgrimage to both Buddhists and Hindus. It is home to hundreds of holy monkeys; hence, it is also known as the Monkey Temple. Inside the premises of the stupa, you'll also find several restaurants and small crafts shops. If the weather is bright and clear, you can enjoy the panoramic sight of the Kathmandu valley from the hilltop.

After the session, you'll be heading towards the Boudhanath Stupa — one of the largest spherical stupas in the world. Similar to Swayambhunath, the complex of Boudhanath also has a whitewashed dome stupa, but much larger.

During the evening, you can see hundreds of pilgrims visiting the stupa for kora (circumambulations). You can take advantage of this opportunity to capture some beautiful photographs of the circumambulating devotees and monks.

Surrounding the main square of Boudhanath is tons of cafes, coffee shops, and fancy restaurants. You can go to one of the rooftop restaurants and enjoy the evening view.

Overnight at Kathmandu

On this day, you'll be taking a morning flight to Bharatpur Airport at Chitwan. It takes around 20 minutes to reach Chitwan from Kathmandu by air.

Upon landing at Bharatpur Airport, you'll be transferred to Tigerland Safari Resort at Jagatpur. This small town is located 20 kilometers northwest of the airport. Once you check-in at the hotel, you'll freshen up and take a rest for about an hour.

After the break, you'll drive to the popular town of Sauraha to explore the Chitwan Tharu Village. Compared to Kathmandu, Chitwan offers a completely different landscape, culture, and lifestyle. In the village, you'll get to witness the unique culture and lifestyle of the Tharu community. It is surrounded by small mud and reed huts, which is quite different from the city buildings. After walking around the village, you'll visit the Tharu Cultural Museum. This local museum exhibits the ancient artifacts and traditional dresses of the Tharu people.

After the exploration, you'll drive back to Tigerland Safari Resort for an overnight stay.

Overnight at Chitwan

After breakfast, you'll start the day with a short river safari down the Rapti river. You'll hop on a hand-carved wooden canoe and sail on the river for birdwatching. On a lucky day, you might get a glimpse of the marsh-mugger and the gharial crocodile basking on the bank of the river.

Later in the afternoon, you'll go for a jeep safari in the Chitwan National Park. It brings us a great chance to encounter and photograph birdlife, wildlife, and reptiles up close. If you're fortunate enough, you might spot the Royal Bengal Tigers, one-horned rhinoceros, leopards, and sloth bear on the ride.

Furthermore, the Chitwan National Park homes more than 450 species of birds. Thus, we advise you to keep your eyes and camera ready as you might spot some beautiful birds along the way.

After the safari, you'll head back to your resort and sit for a photo review and discussion session with your photography guide.

Overnight at Chitwan

After a hearty breakfast, you'll take a ride from your resort to the Bharatpur Airport to catch a flight to Pokhara. It takes only 20 minutes to reach Pokhara from Chitwan. Compared to the previous domestic flight, the journey to Pokhara is much more scenic, with a marvelous view of the Himalayas.

Upon landing at Pokhara, you'll be transferred to your respective hotel. After an hour-long rest, you'll take a ride towards the top of Anadu Hill to explore the World Peace Pagoda.

The iconic gleaming-white pagoda stands 115 feet tall and has two tiers for visitors to circumambulate. The second tier of the pagoda has four Buddha statues that were offered as souvenirs. The golden pinnacle on the top holds the crystal stone all the way from Sri Lanka.

Besides the stupa, you can also enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and Phewa Lake from its balcony. After enjoying the sunset view from the World Peace Pagoda, you'll head back to your hotel. If you do not want to spend your evening at the hotel, you can even go for a walk around Lakeside and relax at the shore of Phewa Lake.

Overnight at Pokhara

Early after breakfast, you'll set off on a scenic drive to Kimche. First, you'll head off northwest from Pokhara along the Baglung Highway towards Nayapul.

Upon arriving, you'll leave the highway behind and turn right towards the small town of Birethanti. From here, you'll drive along the rough and bumpy road, following the Modi Khola river until you reach the small settlement of Kimche. It takes just about three hours to arrive at this tiny village from Pokhara.

Once you reach Kimche, you'll leave your vehicle and start trekking towards Tadapani. You'll walk past the traditional village of Ghandruk. From here, you'll get to enjoy the epic Himalayan views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machapuchare.

After enjoying the view, you'll continue your walk uphill through the dense forest to Tadapani.

Overnight at Tadapani

On this day, you'll continue the trek from Tadapani after a hearty breakfast. The first section of the trail climbs steeply upwards under the shades of rhododendron and pine trees until you reach Deurali.

From here, the trail becomes fairly pleasant and easy. Although most part of the trail is still uphill, it is relatively gentle compared to the section from Tadapani to Deurali. After about an hour-long climb for Deurali, you'll reach the viewpoint of Gurung Hill.

Often neglected, the Gurung Hill offers panoramic views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Hiunchuli. You'll be spending some time at the viewpoint to relish the mountain panorama.

After the break, the route goes downhill through the forested trail until you reach a small village of Ghorepani.

Overnight at Ghorepani

On this day, you'll hit the trail from Ghorepani and head to the most popular vantage point of Poon Hill at dawn. Make sure to carry a bottle of water, a headlight, and your camera. You can leave the rest of your stuff at the hotel.

The route to Poon Hill from Ghorepani is steel uphill throughout the way. It takes just about 45 minutes to reach this popular Himalayan viewpoint.

Poon Hill offers one of the most beautiful sunrises you'll ever witness. From the top, you'll get to enjoy uninterrupted, panoramic views of some of the world's highest and most photogenic mountains. If the weather's clear, you can see a massive snow-capped Himalayan range, including Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Lamjung.

After enjoying the breathtaking scenery from the viewpoint of Poon Hill, you'll retrace your route to your hotel at Ghorepani. You'll collect the rest of the stuff from the hotel and descend towards Hile. The trail to Hile passes through dense forests, many villages, teahouses, restaurants, small rivers, and waterfalls.

At the village of Hile, your private transportation will be waiting for you. You'll then catch the ride and drive back to the lake city of Pokhara. In the late evening, you can set out to the shore of Phewa to enjoy the sunset or stroll around Lakeside.

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the Pokhara airport to catch a flight to Kathmandu. The 30-minute flight is very scenic with the sight of the Himalayas.

Upon landing at Kathmandu, you'll head southeast of the airport toward the city of Bhaktapur. Amongst the three cities of Kathmandu valley, Bhaktapur is the most untouched in terms of culture, history, and lifestyle.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square is surrounded by prehistoric shrines, temples, statues, and courtyards. Its narrow alleys, brick-paved roads, and traditional Newari houses reflect medieval Nepal. You'll tour explore all the major attractions of Bhaktapur, including the National Art Museum, The Golden Gate, Nyatapola Temple, 55 Window Palace, Taleju Temple, and Kumari House.

After exploring the heritage site, you'll set off for the popular hill station of Nagarkot. Upon arrival, you'll check in to your respective hotel and take a walk towards the Nagarkot View Tower. In the evening, you can relish a beautiful sunset over the Himalayan panorama from this tiny view tower.

Overnight at Nagarkot

You'll start the day at dawn by visiting the Nagarkot View Tower for the sunrise view. Nagarkot is known to offer one of the best sunrise views in Nepal, along with a beautiful stretch of the Himalayas.

After enjoying the breathtaking sunrise from the view tower, you'll drive back to Kathmandu. As you arrive at your hotel in Kathmandu, your photography guide will host a photo review and discussion session.

Post-session, you'll drive towards the heart of Kathmandu city to explore Durbar Square. Dating back to as long as the third century, this historic site is home to some of the most iconic monuments, temples, courtyards, and statues.

The innermost complex of the Durbar Square is an ancient royal palace, which is not transformed into a museum. The outer complex of the palace is always busiest with the crowd of people, local vendors, small markets, and colorful rickshaws. It also has several pagoda-style temples, including Kumari Ghar, Taleju Temple, Trailokya Mohan Narayan Temple, and Kasthamandap. With such a combination, you won't have any difficulty finding subjects to photograph.

Overnight at Kathmandu

On this day, you'll go for a full-day photography tour to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites — Pashupatinath Temple and Patan Durbar Square.

After breakfast, you'll visit Pashupatinath, one of Kathmandu's oldest and most sacred Hindu temples. Since foreign visitors are not allowed to enter the temple's innermost sections, you'll be strolling the outer section.

The outer premises of Pashupatinath consists of several ancient temples, inscriptions, and Shiva Lingams. You can also see open cremation on the funeral pyres at the bank of the holy Bagmati river.

Later in the afternoon, you'll make your way to Patan Durbar Square. Patan Durbar Square is known to exhibit Newari architecture at its finest. It is jam-packed with 55 ancient temples and 136 courtyards. Besides, it is surrounded by centuries-old monuments, artifacts, and statues.

Some of the noteworthy attractions of Patan are Durbar Square, Patan Museum, Taleju Bhawani Temple, Golden Temple, Mahaboudha Temple, and Rato Machhendranath Temple. Moreover, you'll also get to witness the rich craftsmanship of stone, wood, and metal.
