Lately, there has been extensive road construction (KATHMANDU TO POKHARA )on Prithvi Highway, causing traffic congestion and air pollution. The journey that used to take around 6-7 hours now takes roughly 8-9 hours. We appreciate your patience.

What Are The Routes You’ll Take?

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be greeted by one of our staff and then transferred to the hotel in Kathmandu. Taking a day for preparation, you’ll begin the journey with a long drive to Jagat. From Jagat, your journey to the Pisang Peak by foot begins. You’ll walk through the oak forest and across several small villages like Dharapani, Chame, and Upper Pisang. After a day of acclimatization in Upper Pisang, you’ll hike to the Pisang Base Camp and then to Pisang High Camp. On the tenth day of your hike, you’ll reach the Summit of the Pisang peak and head back to Pisang Base Camp for an overnight stay.

Continuing your journey, you’ll pass through Manang, Yak Kharka, and reach the Thorong Phedi. The small settlement lies at the foot of the region’s Highest Pass, Thorong La Pass. Thereafter, you’ll climb the Thorong La Pass and descend toward Muktinath, an important pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists.

After Muktinath, you’ll make your way to Jonsom and later fly to Pokhara. You’ll finally bring your journey to a close with a drive back to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, you’ll stay for a leisurely day and then fly back home.

When Are The Best Times To Book This Adventure?

The best time for the Pisang Peak trek is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons. These months offer the most stable and clear weather conditions, making it easier to trek and summit the peak. Spring brings beautiful blossoming flowers and warmer temperatures, while autumn has cooler temperatures and stunning views of the changing foliage.

The winter months (December to February) can be freezing and challenging to trek through due to heavy snowfall, while the summer months (June to August) can bring monsoon rains and muddy trails. Hence, it is important to plan your trek accordingly.
