The relishing adventure of paddling in between the deepest gorge of the world can be experienced nowhere but in the Kali Gandaki river of Nepal. Fighting with the challenge of white water rapids in the backdrop of Annapurna panorama and Dhaulagiri Himal, admiring the waterfalls cascading from the top of the cliff, Kali Gandaki Rafting is a mind blowing fusion of natural and adventure.
The Kali Gandaki River has been recently opened for rafting purpose in 1991 but has gained its charm vigorously and the credit goes to challenging water rapids, mountain scenery, stunning waterfalls, unique culture and typical wild landscape of Kagbeni. You can continuously experience the Class III and Class IV rapids as you raft in the water of Kaligandaki. As the rafting is quite technical and full of huge rapids, prior experience of rafting and swimming capacity is highly recommended.
Initially, we take a drive for around six hours to Pokhara and head towards Beni. As we reach the riverside, we unload our gears and fuel ourselves with delicious food. We take a short briefing about our Kali Gandaki rafting journey from the instructor and learn few rafting techniques. We load ourselves with the gears and take necessary precautions for rating experience. We then continue for actual rafting experience. In our three days rafting journey, we will experience the thrill of white water to the fullest
