Difficulty Level

You might be wondering whether climbing to Tharphu Chuli Peak is difficult, right? We’re here to clear this doubt for you.

The elevation of this peak is 5653m, which is a low elevation. Therefore, unlike the Mera or Island Peak, the summit to Tharphu Chuli Peak is relatively easier.

Secondly, let’s discuss the altitude of the region. Since the highest elevation you’ll reach is 5653m, there is little risk of acute altitude sickness. You don’t have to worry since there will be enough acclimatization.

Moreover, our trekking guides and climbers are highly trained professionals skilled in their respective fields. With the help of their assistance, you’ll be guided on how to climb, hike and use the climbing gears as required. Hence, you can be completely assured of the climb, as you’ll be in good hands.

Best Time

Climbing a peak is not a walk in the park. The climb can become a challenging one if weather conditions are not favorable. Hence, we are listing some of the best times for the summit.

Climbing is best done in Spring( March-May) and Autumn( September- November).  The lush green forests, clear skies, and moderate temperature make hiking and climbing more enjoyable.

We do not recommend climbing during the winter and monsoon season. The climb is impossible in winter because the barometric pressure and oxygen availability decrease dramatically. Likewise, in the monsoon season, the trails become slippery, increasing the risk of injuries.

Hence, we only recommend climbing the Tharpu Chuli Peak in the spring and autumn.

And, with this, we’ve reached the end of the overview. We hope that you enjoyed reading the information and are looking forward to booking this peak climbing package with us. All you need to do is send us an inquiry, and we’ll send you a quick response to proceed further with the bookings.
